The ECO Friendly Products

about brake pad

If you are an ELIG customer, do not worry about the environment!

Our products are manufactured according to the latest “environmental” standards with the highest technology in this field. For many years, ELIG has been conducting a variety of scientific specialized research in the world’s best laboratories to improve the quality of its products.

elig ECO Friendly Products

Some of the important materials in the industry that may pollute the environment are:

– Asbestos (chemical pollution)

– Heavy metals (chemical pollution)

– dust (respiratory pollution)

– Toxic gases (respiratory / chemical pollution)

– Noise (noise pollution)

– Heat (temperature and heat pollution)

The above materials are always the main concerns of brake pad manufacturers, each of which does harm to environment.

Yes! By pushing the brake pedal, you can simply enter all of these contaminants into the environment. But like any other problem, there is a way to prevent it, and the solution is to use high-quality products with international standards.

Asbestos

In the past, this mineral was widely used in the brake pad industry, but today, with the advancement of technology and the emergence of new environmental standards, the use of this material has been reduced. However, some manufacturers always use this substance.

During braking, asbestos is washed off the pads and enters the air stream. These particles are very small and never seen by the naked eye, but enter the lungs when breathing. These small particles fit in the lungs and never go out, so over time, they bring a lot of health problems for people. Problems such as stenosis, tuberculosis and lung cancer.

Heavy metals

Due to the friction of the pad and the disc, a lot of heat is generated, which results in the release of metals used in the pads. These metals float in the air and in addition to the lungs of humans and animals, they also penetrate into the water and soil and enter the food cycle.

Some of these metals include lead, mercury and cadmium, for which detailed explanation of these metals can be found in the ELIG Test Report. All of this is one of the main environmental problems. Problems such as the types of poisoning, tuberculosis, cancer, autoimmune diseases and sexual disorders are such diseases that heavy metals are causing them to occur over time.

Dust

It’s also called smoke and can be seen with the naked eye. Just take a look at your tires or rims or touch them smoothly. Black, soft and smooth smoke on the wheel of your car!

This material, in addition to creating dirt in the rims, tires and the city, enters into the lungs and causes the diseases mentioned above.

Toxic gases

By braking, creating heat and burning high metals, gases are generated in the air and everyone is familiar with the risk of toxic gases.

Noise pollution

Noise pollution is one of the great problems of large cities. Perhaps living in metropolises, you will not notice this problem, and you are accustomed to this volume of sound. You just have to spend the night in the desert or calm mountains to discover the pure silence of these areas and find the difference there with your place of residence. You do not hear a lot of noises or your mind ignores them, but it always affects your nerves.

Heat

Melting ice in the Arctic and the South!

This year’s average rainfall was lower than previous years!

You have probably heard this news! The fact is that the earth’s temperature is rising in various ways, and every industry, in its turn, is the cause of this problem. Among these, the traffic of cars, burning fossil fuels, oil and gas have a major impact. But let’s think that there are hundreds of millions of cars in the world that at any moment of braking, in their four wheels, temperature is rising!

Let’s consider the temperature of each pad and disc pads while braking optimistically at 300 degrees and the temperature of the environment is 25 degrees. The question is, how much heat should be displaced every time when the brake pedal is pressed, so that the pads and the disc pads’ temperature are coherent with the temperature of the environment? Calculate the number for four wheels and for the whole of the world, and find out why the ice is melting, the rainfall is lowering, and the environment is being endangered.

All pads are heat-generating, but standard pads with world-class technology had improved this. The use of unshielded material in the brake pads, while increasing the temperature and damage to the vehicle, also causes thermal pollution to the environment.

Sometimes, with simple decisions and the use of high-quality products, we can make our future, our children’s and our country’s future more comfortable. Improving the quality of life, community health and environmental standards, in addition to government policies, require people’s attention.
