Deformation of brake pad abrasive material

Appearance: scorching or burning part of the abrasive materials and whitening the edges of the brake pad.

Cause: Excessive temperature due to frequent and long braking and heavy abrasion of pad on brake discs.

Effect: Reduced braking power / Creating burning smell / excessive loss of abrasive material and deformation of the brake pad surface.

Solution: Investigate the cause of overheating of the brake pad / If the damage is severe, the brake pads are to be replaced. If the damage to the pads is not too much, it can be used.
